The choir is a blend of amateur and professional singers, as well as those in training. Singers are chosen for musicality, vocal quality and a professional approach to performance. We do audition our singers, mostly so we can get to know the voices of those who sing with us - for more information about singing with HELIOS, read the faq. HELIOS has performed in many London concert venues and churches, as well as for wedding parties and church services. We are happy to create programmes to perform at your bespoke event. You can find information on booking HELIOS here.

As HELIOS has a large fund of talent upon which to draw, performers are selected according to the type of event. We prefer to play to our strengths! We look out for music that is particularly gorgeous, as well as lesser-known works. There are no membership subscriptions or music hire charges, and we endeavour to make each concert cover its costs, or be covered by reserves. HELIOS is a truly sociable creature, and we always try to find a pleasant pub to wind down after a rehearsal - everyone is most welcome!
